EUROPEAN ELECTIONS 2009

If you are a resident of the commune of St Front, originate from a country which is part of the European Community, even if you do not have French nationality you should be entitled to vote in the European Elections 2009 at St Front instead of in your European country of origin.

In order to register to do so, see the Secretary of the Mairie at St Front before 15th December 2008.  The following will be required:

1. the completion of a simple form suppled by the Secretary of the Mairie;

2. a photocopy of a currently valid document providing proof of your identity and your nationality, e.g., a national identity card or a passport (photocopy the double page displaying your photo) or a carte de sejour;

3. proof of your residence at St Front, e.g., an electric, gas or land line telephone bill issued in the last three months showing your name or proof that you have paid for the fifth consecutive time the local taxes, i.e., ‘taxes foncières’ or ‘taxe d’habitation’ or one of these documents belonging to your legal partner.
